Hey, I’m Delaney—the mama behind Morning Milk
Welcome, Friend. I’m so glad you’re here. I’m a Registered Nurse and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant, but more than that — I’m someone who’s been where you are: tired, full of questions, and trying to make sense of all the noise around feeding your babies.
Why Morning Milk
I started Morning Milk because I kept seeing the same pattern: our generation grew up in a time when breastfeeding wasn’t always modeled or supported (sometimes still isn’t). Our moms were told formula was best. Then we became parents in an era where the internet gives us tooooo much information — and somehow, we’re left more confused than ever.
I wanted to create something that felt different—a space that’s low-stress, judgement-free, and genuinely supportive. A place where you can ask the, “is this normal?” questions, learn what’s actually helpful, and feel like you’re talking to a friend who just happens to know a lot about lactation.
My Approach
Every family is unique, and every feeding journey looks a little different. I combine evidence-based care with a calm, real-world approach that meets you where you are —whether you’re prepping for birth, navigating latch issues, or pumping at work.
Think of me as your steady cup of morning coffee (hence morning milk): nourishing, simple, and grounding when everything feels a little overwhelming.
A Little More About Me
When I’m not supporting families, you’ll probably find me chasing around my toddler (or chickens) on our homestead, sipping coffee before my toddler wakes up, baking sourdough, or headed somewhere to camp with my family. I believe that slowing down, listening closely, and giving ourselves grace are just as important as. any latch technique.
